It’s no surprise that Audi Denver is a big fan of cycling. We’re proud sponsors of our own cycling team, Primal Denver and host our yearly charity event Wish For Wheels where for every Audi purchased, a bike is built and given to a kid in need. When it comes to cycling and supporting the community, we always find any way to help and be involved.  The Littleton Twilight Criterium is no exception, which is why we decided not only to attend, but to become the title sponsor of the event.

Back for its 7th year, the Criterium is a short, closed-circuit bike race that’s usually under a mile in length and lasting 30 to 60 minutes. Criteriums are fun for spectators because you can walk around the entire course and see racers fly by every few minutes at nearly 30 miles per hour, in very close proximity to one another.

The Littleton Twilight Criterium takes place on the streets of downtown Littleton with lots of corners, speed, and action on the 0.8-mile course. The event is part of both USA Cycling’s National Calendar and the top-level USA Crit Series. There will be seven races and a Cruiser Ride (open to the general public), highlighted by the men’s and women’s professional races at night and under the lights.

The day will also include music from local bands That 80's Band and Pandas & People, a beer garden complete with lawn games and craft brews and even food trucks. Bring your favorite bike, trike, unicycle, tandem ride or even a scooter and join in the Cruiser Ride around the course at 6:30 p.m. New this year is an obstacle course for the little cyclists in training.

You can view the full schedule and the course map here. Littleton Twilight Criterium is August 3 from 3:30 - 10:30 p.m. in downtown Littleton. The event is free and open to all ages. See you on the course!
